Psalm 106:37-39

³⁷ They sacrificed their sons and daughters to demons.
³⁸ They shed innocent blood—
    the blood of their sons and daughters—
whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
    thereby polluting the land with blood.
³⁹ Therefore, they became unclean because of what they did;
    they have acted like whores by their evil deeds.
